What is the Instrument Petting Zoo?
The Instrument Petting Zoo is a fun, hands-on experience where participants can try out a variety of instruments — piano, guitar, drums, microphones for singing, and more — to see what they enjoy the most. It’s perfect for beginners of all ages!
Who are these workshops for?
These workshops are designed for kids, teens, and adults who are curious about music but may not be ready to commit to lessons yet. No prior experience is needed — just a willingness to try!
How much does it cost?
Absolutely nothing! These workshops are completely free. It’s our way of giving back and helping people discover their passion for music.
Where do the workshops take place?
Workshops are held in-person at one of Visionary Music Academy's chosen locations. Location details will be specified in your workshop invitation email. We’re also working on launching online intro workshops soon!
What should I bring?
You don’t need to bring anything except your enthusiasm! We provide all the instruments and materials you’ll need for the session.
Can I sign up more than one person (like a child or a friend)?
Absolutely! Just fill out the form once for each person who will be attending so we can keep track of everyone and make sure there's enough space.
How do I know when I’ll be scheduled?
Once you sign up, you’ll be placed on our waiting list. We’ll contact you by email or text as soon as new workshop dates become available, and you’ll be able to RSVP to the session that works best for you.
What if I sign up but can’t make the date?
No problem! Just let us know and we’ll keep you on the list for the next available workshop. You won’t lose your spot in line.
Is this a one-time thing, or can I come again?
Right now, we prioritize new attendees, but once you've attended your first session, you’ll be eligible for future invite-only events and discounts on lessons.
What happens after the workshop?
If you or your child enjoyed the session, you’ll get a special discount on your first month of lessons, and we can help you find the perfect teacher or class to continue your journey.
