The following Terms and Conditions apply to all lesson agreements made between Visionary Music Academy (“VMA”) and its students or their parents/guardians ("the customer"). By enrolling, you agree to the following:
1. Term Structure & Scheduling
1.1 Year-Round Terms
We operate on a quarterly schedule:
• Term 1: January – March
• Term 2: April – June
• Term 3: July – September
• Term 4: October – December
1.2 Lesson Hours
• Monday to Friday: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM
• Saturday & Sunday: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM
1.3 Office Hours
• Monday to Friday: 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM
• Saturday & Sunday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

2. Lesson Rates & Fees
Online 30-minute weekly lessons: $190/month
Online 60-minute weekly lessons: $290/month
In-person 60-minute weekly lessons: $309/month
One-time Registration Fee: $32 (non-refundable) — waived if you refer a friend!
All prices are billed in the student’s local currency (e.g., CAD or USD) and are subject to applicable taxes.
Rates are calculated based on the number of weeks in each term.

First Lesson Free: Try your first lesson at no charge to see if we’re the right fit for you.
$10 Off First Month: Receive a $10 discount on your first month of lessons.
Referral Bonus: Earn $5 per month in lesson credits for each friend you refer who signs up.
Certificate Program & Performance Opportunities
We offer a structured Certificate Program to guide your progress, with level milestones to celebrate your achievements. Students also have access to performance opportunities throughout the year, with the possibility of paid musical engagements as they advance.
3. Payments & Billing
• Payments are due before the first lesson of each month.
• We accept: Credit/Debit Cards, E-transfer, or EFT (Direct Bank Withdrawal).
• Mid-month enrollments will be prorated.
• Missed or late payments may result in paused lessons or forfeited time slots.
4. Attendance, Absences & Makeups
• 48+ hours’ notice is required to be eligible for a makeup.
• Lessons missed with less than 48 hours’ notice are not eligible for makeup, refund, or credit.
• Makeups must be used within the same term and are subject to instructor availability.
• If your instructor is absent, we’ll arrange a substitute, reschedule, or issue a credit.
5. Cancellations & Withdrawals
• To withdraw, send written notice at least 30 days before the next billing cycle:
• No refunds are issued for mid-month cancellations or missed lessons.
6. Behavior & Conduct
All students and family members are expected to maintain respectful behavior.
VMA reserves the right to discontinue lessons without refund if policies are violated.
7. Media Release
We occasionally capture photos or videos for social media and promotional use.

9. Referral Program
Share the music and get rewarded!
For Each Referral:
• Earn $5/month (up to $30 total) for every active, paying student you refer.
• By default, rewards are applied as lesson credits worth $6/referral (20% more value).
To Request Cash Payouts:
• Email [email protected] by the 15th of the month.
• Payouts issued via e-transfer or direct deposit by month-end.
• Minimum payout request: $100; max reward: $250/month.
Terms:
• Referral must remain enrolled and in good standing.
• Referral links can be requested via email.
• Referred students must use your unique link or mention your name during sign-up.
