At Visionary Music Academy, we are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all students, teachers, and staff. Harassment of any kind—whether verbal, physical, visual, or digital—will not be tolerated.

Scope:

This policy applies to all in-person and online interactions, including lessons, rehearsals, events, emails, chat platforms, and social media.

Examples of Prohibited Conduct:

• Unwanted comments or jokes based on race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or disability.

• Intimidation, bullying, or threats (verbal or written).

• Unwelcome physical contact or gestures.

• Repeated inappropriate messages in digital communication platforms.

Reporting & Resolution:

Any incidents should be reported immediately to [email protected].

Reports will be handled with confidentiality and urgency.

Disciplinary actions may include warnings, suspension, or termination of engagement.

We value the privacy of our community. Visionary Music Academy ensures that all personal information provided by students, parents, and teachers is protected and only used for educational and administrative purposes.

What We Collect:

• Contact details (name, email, phone)

• Payment and invoicing information

• Lesson schedules and progress records

• Media (only with prior consent)

How We Use It:

• To coordinate lessons and communicate effectively

• To process payments

• To improve our services and track progress

Security Measures:

All digital records are stored securely, with limited access.

We do not share your data with third parties unless required by law or with your explicit permission.

  • Volunteer Dismissal Policy

Volunteers play a valuable role at Visionary Music Academy.

To maintain our professional and supportive atmosphere, we reserve the right to dismiss any volunteer who does not uphold our values or follow our guidelines.

Grounds for Dismissal May Include:

• Breach of confidentiality

• Inappropriate or unprofessional behavior toward students, staff, or families

• Repeated tardiness or unnotified absences

• Violations of the Anti-Harassment or Code of Conduct policies

Process:

Volunteers will be given a verbal or written warning if concerns arise.

If the behavior continues, dismissal will follow. Immediate dismissal may occur for serious violations.
